April Lawlor, known mononymously as April, is a 22-year-old singer-songwriter from County Kildare, Ireland, now based in London. She first gained attention in late 2019 with a self-released SoundCloud track that quickly picked up momentum. In early 2020, she released her debut EP New Conditions, followed by Luna, a four-track EP created during lockdown through Zoom sessions with Fred Macpherson and Kojaque.
