Boyfrens is the electro-pop project of Dublin artist Jack Hevey. Known for his rich synth textures and dynamic beats, Hevey's work blends influences from Suicide and Arthur Russell. His music, initially focused on themes of masculinity and intimacy, has recently explored political and cultural issues. With praise from BBC 6 Music and KEXP Seattle, Boyfrens' live shows mix modulated vocals, analogue synths, and programmed beats for late-night dancefloors. Recent highlights include sold-out shows in London, Amsterdam, and Limerick.
